		<description><![CDATA[I agree with your distinctions between blogs and twittering and myspacing and all that ilk. While both are mediums for communication, they operate in very different ways and cater to distinctly different mindsets. I have no inclination to twit, space, or face--but I am inclined to practice and share my &#039;creations&#039; and discoover the work and thoughts of others via blogging. Years ago there were no blogs, but there were forums--where posting was generally &#039;controlled&#039; by the website owner--and those attracted like minded people for discussing common ground. Blogging contexts offer a wider range of interests and connections. But generally without all the chaotic noisemaking of the twittering folks.
